And the Winners are…

Hollywood arrived at the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles in their finest to attend the 82nd annual Academy Awards Sunday.

Hosted by Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin, Sunday night’s show was watched by more than 41.3 million viewers – that’s the largest audience since 2005′s broadcast. It also had a fabulous opening song-and-dance number by Neil Patrick Harris.

The Hurt Locker swept the awards with six Oscars, Precious earned four, and Avatar came away with three.

Sandra Bullock won her statue for Best Actress for her role as Leigh Anne Tuohy in “The Blind Side,” and Mo’Nique won her Best Supporting Actress for playing Mary in Precious. Jeff Bridges walked away with the Best Actor Oscar for his portrayal of “Bad Blake” in Crazy Heart.
